Newsweek has announced the Best-In-State Hospitals in the nation. We're excited to share that several of our hospitals in Iowa made the cut among the 700 hospitals that earned national recognition. The purpose of this list is to assist you and your loved ones in making well-informed health care decisions.

The eligible hospitals were evaluated and ranked based on the results of various surveys and data. Results were gathered from nationwide online surveys for tens of thousands of healthcare professionals, patient experience surveys, quality metrics data, and voluntary Patient Related Outcome (PROM) implementation surveys.
Using survey metrics, proximity, and accessibility to care, Newsweek and Statista R—a world leader in market research and data analysis—ranked the top hospitals. Among the 25 states with the most hospitals, Iowa is home to 17 of the 700 qualified hospitals chosen nationwide.
The ICN delivers direct broadband connections to many healthcare sites throughout Iowa. In addition, we provided support, consultation, and security services for the Iowa Rural Health Telecommunications Program (IRHTP) to ensure rural healthcare can access patient databases, specialists, and applications that are found in larger healthcare facilities.
