About SYBAC

Our Statewide Youth Broadband Advisory Council (SYBAC) is an opportunity for high school students to discuss broadband and technology topics, learn about Iowa technology companies, discover careers, and network with peers. No advanced technical knowledge is required.

We are interested in hearing from students who are passionate about technology whether it be...apps, gaming, cybersecurity, fiber optics or something else. This opportunity will introduce students to a variety of technology aspects that are around Iowans each day.

  • What Benefits Do Students Receive? Students obtain a cybersecurity certification, interact with industry leaders, start building their networks, and can add participation to their college applications or resumes.
