The Iowa Communications Network (ICN) is a state-of-the-art fiber optic network providing telecommunications services to its authorized users including high-speed flexible broadband Internet, data, voice (phone), security, and consulting services. The authorized users of the ICN, under Code of Iowa, include: K-12 schools, higher education, hospitals and clinics, state and federal government, National Guard armories, and libraries.

County Government & Local EMAs Can Receive ICN Services
In response to the Governor’s COVID-19 Disaster Proclamation, Iowa Communications Network (ICN) can provide connectivity and services to County governments and local County Emergency Management Agencies (EMA) for the time period of the disaster proclamation.
