The Statewide Youth Broadband Advisory Council (SYBAC) is a unique opportunity for motivated high school students to research and discuss broadband and Internet topics, learn about Iowa technology companies, and discover technology careers. ICN is looking for Iowa high school students to apply to its 2020-2021 council.
Applications are being accepted through June 12.
Students should apply by submitting a membership application and requesting a teacher to submit a teacher recommendation on their behalf.
Students enrolled in 10th - 12th grades during the 2020-2021 school year may apply. Students selected will be notified by ICN in July. SYBAC meetings take place monthly from September 2020 through April 2021 via video conference and/or teleconference. If selected, school administrator approval will be required.
Contact Lori Larsen at firstname.lastname@example.org for questions about the council.
